Chevrolet Cruze Recall Again

General Motors (GM) it was not free from problems of recall. This time, the manufacturer of the United States (U.S.), it must re-draw the Chevrolet Cruze.

There are 154,112 units of the Chevrolet Cruze who was forced to pull back from circulation in (recall). This sedan is why having problems on the steering shaft.

The recall applies to all of the Chevrolet Cruze is built in a factory Lordstown, Ohio, USA, began last summer to 21 April 2011.

Of the hundreds of thousands of unit, 120,000 units is the Chevrolet Cruze with automatic transmission  who also on Recall by GM to ensure no damage to the gear system of the vehicle.

"Very few of the vehicles that were problematic, and GM has made changes to ensure quality does not happen the same mistakes," said Vice President of Global Quality GM Terry Woychowski as quoted by Reuters on Thursday (05/05/2011).

Other GM spokesman said the damage was discovered when the steering shaft rider Cruze was parked. And no reported accidents that occurred over this case.

Chevrolet Cruze This recall action is the third time by GM. In April last Cruze should also be withdrawn from circulation because of problems during the installation process the steering shaft.

Then in March 2010 Cruze are also on the recall because the cheaper fuel hose brittle, giving rise to the risk of fuel leaks that allow the occurrence of fire.
