Dirk Nowitzki scored 24 points and added 14 points from Shawn Marion made the Dallas Mavericks again overthrew the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers in game 2 playoff semi-finals of the region, on Thursday morning (05/05/2011).
Mavericks who just managed to win one playoff series in four years, are surprisingly able to dominate and played aggressively throughout the match to lead 93-81, who makes them a 2-0 lead from the best-of-seven.
Jason Kidd scored 10 points for the Mavericks, to push the Lakers to the brink of defeat, coupled with exceptional shooting from Nowitzki, defense meetings and able to maintain the 9-0 advantage in the fourth quarter.
Kobe Bryant scored 23 points for the Lakers, Andrew Bynum followed with 18 the figure has not been able to make the team out of the defeat.
