Apple has been decided a temporary suspension of a sales ban compulsory on a number of its products in Germany. Statement from the apple is that all iPad and iPhone models will be back on sale through Apple's online store in Germany shortly. Companies must offer Frand-type patents for a sensible fee to anyone ready to pay.
According to Patent consultant Florian Mueller, who attended the review, the Karlsruhe higher provincial court believes that Apple's new offer needs to be evaluated before this order can enter into force again. Apple had formerly said it would be ready to pay the fee going onward, but the two firms argument how much Apple should pay for failing to license the technology up until now.
