Chelsea midfielder Ramires just want full amount against Wigan Athletic. The win will boost confidence assessed when the team face Manchester United in the Champions League.
MU middle 0-1 defeat last week gave a heavy blow for Chelsea. The practical result narrow the opportunities for them to qualify for the next round.
However the disappointment would soon be expelled because Chelsea had been awaited Wigan in a cage fight on Saturday (09/04/2011) evening hrs.
Victory is a must achieve the Blues is not just for the sake of a chance to finish in the Champions League zone end of the season. But also to boost self-confidence for the team to face Manchester United in the second leg later.
"I know how to separate one thing from another and it's the same for all players. Wigan is the next game, this should be our focus now and then just thinking about the Champions League," said Ramires on the official club website.
"It's important to get three points, especially at home games in front of the fans themselves. It is important also to maintain the confidence level of the team for the next matches."
Ramires not included in the first meeting of the two teams when Chelsea's slaying The Latics 6-0. He hopes a good performance could be repeated.
"I remember the match, I saw it and of course it would be nice for us if they can repeat this result and performance but this match will be difficult," said the Brazilian youth.
"We have the quality to repeat (the results) but the better the performance of Wigan and they also need the points, but only three points that we want," he said.
