Boxing World Champion Women's Shot Stepfather

Career women's boxing world champion version WIBF and WIBA, Rola El-Halabi, threatened aground after being shot in the hand, knee and foot by his stepfather.
The shooting took place on Friday, April 1, 2011 when Rola prepared in dressing room ahead of the fight against Irma Balijagic Adler in the race for the title of the vacant IBF featherweight.
While we were waiting for combat, Roy El-Halabi, Rola stepfather, suddenly went into the locker room and shoot the boxer 25 years at the hands, knees and feet. In addition to shooting Rola, Roy was also shot two security guards before being arrested.
German newspaper, Bild, launch because of the incident all day battle was abolished and 800 spectators were evacuated from the boxing arena.
"Papa suddenly entered the room. He threatened us with guns in his hands and shouted 'It's all out!', Then he shot me in the arm from a distance of three meters. I was crying and screaming," said Rola told Bild.
Berlin Police could not confirm the motive that drives Roy to do the shooting, but reportedly had become manager Roy Rola before finally split in January 2011.
