Two Son Mubarak imprisoned by Egyptian


Egyptian authorities today arrested two sons of former President Hosni Mubarak,namely Alaa and Gamal . Together with his father, they were both suspected of corruption and involvement in political violence during Mubarak's rule, from 1981 until forced to resign on February 11, 2011.

According to BBC news station, Alaa and Gamal were arrested after questioning by the prosecution team. Their current detention period lasted for 15 days.

In fact, the prosecution team was also interrogated Mubarak. But the 82-year-old former president had complained to health disorder that was rushed to hospital in the city of Sharm-el-Sheikh.

Egyptian state television said that Mubarak had a heart attack, but the report mentions that she was still healthy enough to menjalai judicial examination.

Military commander in South Sinai, Major-General Mohammed el-Khatib, announced to a crowd of demonstrators outside the courthouse that Mubarak's two sons had been detained. "Fifteen days," said el-Khatib was quoted as saying by the Associated Press.

Near the crowd, Alaa and Gamal then escorted from the courthouse to the detention by police vans. The protesters then threw stones at the car.

Mubarak and families have been barred from leaving Egypt. In addition, the authorities had frozen all assets of their property.
