Ducati Use New Chassis at Le Mans

Satisfied with the results of motor development in Estoril, Portugal some time ago, Ducati will directly use the new chassis at the French GP at Le Mans circuit this weekend.

A number of development by the Italian team, among others, new chassis and updates on machines used Desmosedici GP11 Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden.

To improve its position in the MotoGP standings this season, Ducati will directly use the new chassis GP11 on the fourth MotoGP series this season. Unfortunately, the machine with the latest development will not be used Ducati this weekend.

Organizers MotoGP limit each team to use only six engine during racing season 2011. Ducati had to wait until the machines in use today really need to be replaced before using the new machine.

"Nicky and Valentino satisfied with the results of the development we've done on the basis of tests at Estoril. Now we will try our best to make the GP11 easily adapt to the circuit of Le Mans a very different view Estoril," said Vittoriano Guareschi Ducati team manager.

Currently Ducati still in third position in the constructors' championship under the Honda and Yamaha. Of the three races that have been held, only one time Ducati rider, Nicky Hayden can ride the podium. And that's only the third champion in Spain.
