Ford Global Sales Estimate Rises 50 Percent

Ford Motor Company estimates that global sales increased about 50 percent by mid-decade to about 8 million vehicles per year.
Prediction of global sales through improved operating margins and cash flow, along with continuing plans to accelerate the introduction of One Ford products and to expand rapidly in developing markets.
In a presentation that was held today, Wednesday (08/06/2011), told financial analysts led by President and CEO of Ford, Alan Mulally, the company said it has a good position to grow profitably.
Ford expects sales of vehicles in the industry to increase substantially by mid-decade, with most of Ford's growth opportunities driven by the acceleration of expansion in emerging markets, growth in developed markets, and sales of small vehicles are fuel efficient.
"Ford is a growing company, which operates in a growing global automotive market," said Mulally.
He added, through the One Ford, it would increase investment products to meet demand growth with the full range of products at the best.
