Yamaha extends contract Ben Spies


Yamaha finally extend the contract with Ben Spies to racing season 2012.

Tuning fork bearing the team decision was made after seeing the success of the current American rider entered in the third position Catalunya GP.

"I am very pleased to be able to remain part of the Yamaha family until 2012 MotoGP season," said Spies, as quoted from Visordown, Friday (10/06/2011).

According to Yamaha so great in supporting the career of the World Supercike up to MotoGP. "I thank you because it gives confidence to continue in MotoGP until 2012. Thanks also to Lin Jarvis and Masahiko Nakajima for his support,"continued the driver is numbered 11.

Meanwhile, Managing Director of Yamaha Motor Racing Lin Jarvis assess Ben has demonstrated his ability to compete at the highest level.

"Its transition to the Yamaha Factory Racing team has just begun, and we believe in Ben's ability to prepare for the MotoGP in 2012 and changes to a 1000cc motorcycle,"said Lin.
