IMF Officials Detained for Sexual Abuse


Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Dominique Strauss-Kahn (62) was detained by police in New York (NYPD) for cases of sexual harassment. Strauss-Kahn of the Air France plane was detained at John F Kennedy Airport, shortly before the plane took off to Paris.

"NYPD arrested Strauss-Kahn, he was asked about his relationship with sexual assault earlier this afternoon the hotel maid," said a spokesman for the NYPD Deputy Commissioner Paul J Browne.

A spokeswoman for Manhattan District Attorney John Kelly said Strauss Kahn PL has not been officially charged. Kelly explained to 16:40 pm, two detectives from Airport Administrator suddenly entered the Air France flight 23, when the aircraft in the apron and prepared to depart.

"It's 10 minutes before scheduled departure, when the new plane will close its doors (aircraft)," said Kelly.
